Royal St. David's Golf Club, Harlech Profile

The course itself is a demanding test, often described as the toughest par 69 in the world. It has played host to over 50 National and International championships and matches. There are 5 short holes, two par fives and a succession of demanding par fours. Large links greens are a feature of the course. The whole course is set in a Site of Special Scientific Interest and in early summer the twelve varieties of wild orchids are a joy.

Visitors are welcome at the Club and fees competiotive. In 2005 it was voted the top course in the British Isles with a green fee of under £50. It is also ranked in the best 100 courses in the world outside the USA as well as Wales' best. The classic bunkerless 15th hole is rated among the top 50 par 4s in the World.
